Action Plan for Clinical Affairs

Dr Georges de Korvin, Chairman of Clinical Affairs

This draft is a contribution to the General Action Plan of the UEMS PRM Section, which will be discussed by the General Assembly in Namur (March 2008). Our proposal is in the continuity of the “EAR” policy, which had been set out by Prof. Bengt Sjölund : Ethics, Accreditation, Research.

Quality of Care in PRM is the core issue of this Action Plan

  • Quality of care is an ethical response to the persons with disabilities.
  • Quality of care can be defined and assessed on the basis of scientific evidence (EBM)
  • Quality of care involves a good organization of our professional practice.
